Description
For polluting or dangerous processes for the operator and the environment, regulations require double mechanical seals lubricated with a pressurized fluid.
The particular geometry allows better cooling of the sealing rings and the ability to resist higher pressures compared to other models.
The BM6B seal represents one of the ZERO emission solutions, for medium pressure applications, presented in this catalogue.
The BM6B model is the result of the standardization of a series of projects tested and created in accordance with the API 682 IV edition standard.
- Double balanced “reverse pressure” cartridge solution, i.e. hydraulically sized to accept the possible reversal of pressure on the process/seal side;
- Multiple springs for double direction of rotation;
- Monolithic sealing rings;
- Tested and unique rotating ring drive system, designed to maintain efficiency even in the event of vibrations, misalignments and wear of the sealing rings;
- Flushing connections;
- Flange and shaft sleeve designed to customer specifications;
- Solution developed to provide installations on existing machines;
- Recommended for API 610 horizontal and vertical pumps.
