In the case of mixtures, the manufacturing process from storage and transfer to mixing and kneading has to be managed in a controlled way. The various ingredients needed for a recipe are processed using rotating-shaft equipment such as agitators in storage tanks, transfer pumps, and kneaders and mixers that operate under variable pressure and temperature conditions and in contamination-free environments.

The single and double Fluicart versions are very popular in many industries, including the food industry, due to their special technical characteristics: “smooth” design (CB2D and CB2Q versions) and springs outside the process to prevent mixtures from building up around the seal and make cleaning easy.
Balanced seal: low heat is generated between the sealing surfaces thus preventing the process fluid from changing state owing to an increase in temperature. In the case of mineral oils, it reduces the chances of polymerization, which causes unwanted leakages.
Rotating ring drive system: extremely reliable even if the shaft vibrates or the viscous mixture tends to glue the sealing surfaces together.
Double version (CB2D): suitable for gas-phase fluids, highly abrasive or viscous fluids, and for sterile processes.
