Description
Engineered double cartridge seal designed for horizontal dryers with medium to large diameter shafts. Developed in collaboration with leading OEMs, this design is engineered to withstand the mechanical stresses typical of these machines, resulting from high operating temperatures and the pressures required by chemical and active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) processes. The dimensions of all components have been verified through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure maximum operational reliability.
- Double mechanical seal equipped with connections suitable for pressurized liquid flushing, according to API Plan 53B and Plan 54.
- Cartridge locking and drive device designed and tested to accommodate significant axial shaft displacement.
- Integrated cartridge bearing, sized according to specific shaft loads and stresses.
- Wetted parts available in Stainless Steel 316, Duplex, Super Duplex, and high-performance Alloys (e.g., Hastelloy).
- Heavy-duty drive lugs on rotating components, engineered to tolerate shaft run-out and angular misalignment.
