Description
Double cartridge seal in accordance with API 682 4th Edition standards, in “back-to-back” configuration.
A widely used and appreciated seal due to its robustness and ability to withstand high mechanical stress.
These gas-flushed solutions with Fluilift technology allow the sealing faces to separate by a few microns or fractions of a micron during rotation. This results in near-zero friction and significant energy savings.
Zero emissions to atmosphere.
The pressurized barrier gas acts externally on the seal and applies compressive force to the rings, limiting deformation even under extreme operating conditions.
Standard solution derived from tested designs developed in accordance with API 682 4th Edition standards.
- Double opposed mechanical seal balanced and with non-contact rings;
- Mono-directional and bi-directional slots on request;
- Springs external to the product of the pumped liquid;
- Monolithic sealing rings;
- Tested and unique rotating ring drive system, designed to maintain efficiency even in the event of vibrations, misalignments and wear of the sealing rings;
- Flange and shaft sleeve designed to customer specifications;
- Solution developed to provide installations on existing machines;
- Recommended for API 610 horizontal and vertical pumps.
