Description
Dual cartridge seal in face-to-face version with stationary metal bellows designed in compliance with standard API 682 4th edition CAT 2 and 3. All the construction elements and materials of the seal are capable of working at very high temperatures. The dual reverse pressure allows it to operate with auxiliary pressurised liquid guaranteeing zero emissions into the atmosphere or non-pressurised for plan 52 or 55. Solution also available with special materials resistant to chemically aggressive fluids.
- Standard solution resulting from tested designs and made in compliance with standard API 682 4th edition.
- The balanced face-to-face dual cartridge solution is ideal for arrangement 2 and 3 or with auxiliary fluid at atmospheric pressure (buffer) or pressurised (barrier).
- Stationary metal bellows.
- Dual direction of rotation.
- The bellows solution with secondary gaskets in graphoil is recommended with liquids at temperature > 176 °C where emissions into the atmosphere must be controlled or where “Zero emission” is required.
- Connection IN-OUT for auxiliary liquid.
- Efficient circulation device of the auxiliary liquid.
- Possibility of sizing the shaft’s flange and sleeve according to customer request.
- Recommended for API horizontal and vertical pumps.
