FLUIGRID® technology is specifically designed for applications involving dry-running mechanical seals (operating in the absence of liquid) or where the liquid film is unstable:
- Top entry mixer

To ensure maximum product compatibility, the FLUIGRID® seal can be equipped with a sanitary flange designed to collect any graphite micro-particles, preventing them from passing into the process.
This technology, patented by Fluiten, consists of sophisticated machining performed with a laser apparatus to create a network of appropriately sized micro-cavities on the silicon carbide sealing surface. These micro-cavities generate self-sustaining pressure between the sliding rings, significantly reducing heat and friction.
