The cartridge mechanical seal is a type of seal designed to simplify assembly, maintenance, and replacement. It is a pre-assembled module from the factory, comprising all necessary components: the sealing rings, secondary seals, springs or elastic elements in addition to a shaft sleeve and a flange where the various components are assembled in the correct working position.
