Description
Engineered sealing solution for side-entry agitators on storage tanks. The cartridge is designed to facilitate the shut-off procedure, allowing for agitator maintenance without the need to drain the process liquid from the tank. Capable of withstanding high levels of shaft run-out, the GT1571A seal is ideal for both new installations and retrofitting on Plenty, Lightnin (now SPX Flow), and other major side-entry mixer manufacturers. Available as a single seal for non-hazardous processes, or as a dual configuration with a dry-running containment seal for emission control without the need for an auxiliary lubrication tank.
- Sliding drive device compensates for any movement and maintains contact with the rotating ring.
- Springs outside the product.
- Thicker sleeve to tolerate high run-out values to prevent deformations during maintenance and assembly.
- Double balanced seal for enhanced performance and to avoid emissions to atmosphere.
- Threaded flushing connections suitable for:
- Double seal PLAN 52, 53A, 53B
- Single seal PLAN 11 or PLAN 32
- Double seal with secondary containment PLAN 65 A/B, PLAN 75
